Fantasy Football: Zach Charbonnet Injury Means More Work For Kenneth Walker III
One of the most confusing Fantasy Football running back problems to decipher in the early weeks of the young season, has been the committee approach we’ve seen taken by the Seattle Seahawks, with both projected workhorse Kenneth Walker III and unexpected contributor Zach Charbonnet both getting carries early on. But now Charbonnet has been listed as “doubtful” by the Seahawks with the New Orleans Saints coming to town.
This means Kenneth Walker III: Should be the featured back. Walker only has 125 yards and a touchdown in two games, but Charbonnet has gotten the most carries on the team. That will obviously change.
The Saints have been stingy with rushing yards: Christian McCaffrey only got 55 yards last week in a Niners win. James Conner only had 39 yards in the Cardinals win the week before. Even though Walker will get the work, the yards aren’t guaranteed.
Monitor Charbonnet: The Seahawks play the Cardinals on Thursday night in a short week. Seattle needs him despite the Fantasy Football ramifications.
Bottom Line: Play Walker III. Hold on to Charbonnet until we learn more.
What do you think? Do you have either Walker or Charbonnet on your roster?
