Fantasy Football: Justin Jefferson Performance Remains Flat With Carson Wentz

The Minnesota Vikings stormed to a 48-10 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals at home on Sunday, with starting quarterback JJ McCarthy sidelined with injury. Carson Wentz, started and while the team scored almost 50 points, star Fantasy Football wide receiver, Justin Jefferson, still hasn’t energized fantasy teams this season as expected.

The Jefferson Line: 5 catches on 7 targets for 75 yards and zero touchdowns.

For the season: Has only a single touchdown and zero games with more than 5 catches or 100 yards.

Carson Wentz: Threw for two touchdowns. And fed the ball to Jordan Mason, who got in the end zone twice.

It won’t matter much anyways: JJ McCarthy is set to return next weekend. Although, fans could get impatient if his learning track doesn’t accelerate.

Bottom Line: Jefferson is just another star receiver off to a slow start. We can’t afford to sit him. The Vikings host the Pittsburgh Steelers next weekend overseas.

What do you think? Do you have Jefferson in your lineup? Let me know in the comments.
