The New York Giants decided on Tuesday that Jaxson Dart will start Sunday against the undefeated Los Angeles Chargers, essentially ending the Russell Wilson experiment for the G-Men. Obviously, Malik Nabers managers will be happy to hear the news.

The Malik Nabers line through 3 games: 16 catches on 32 targets for 251 yards and two touchdowns. That’s not bad on its face until you remember 167 yards and both touchdowns came against the Cowboys in week 2. He’s been invisible otherwise.

Jaxson Dart Might Need A Minute: This is a rookie making his first regular season start. New York and Nabers managers might want an instant savior, and that isn’t completely out of the question, but also still unlikely.

The Chargers haven’t gone easy on the pass: Patrick Mahomes and Bo Nix threw for a touchdown a piece on the Bolts. And they picked off Geno Smith 3 times.

Bottom Line: Things can’t get any worse for Nabers managers. We have to ride this thing out. In a perfect world, Dart uses Nabers right away. In a broken world, Dart struggles and some very difficult decisions will have to be made. Continue starting Nabers until further notice.
