The number one wide receiver in Fantasy Football, Ja’Marr Chase, looked a little more like himself on Sunday afternoon, as the Cincinnati Bengals defeated the visiting Jacksonville Jaguars 31-27 in a hard fought game.

The Chase Line: 14 catches on 16 targets, for 165 yards, and a touchdown.

He did most of it without Joe Burrow: The Bengals still can’t protect Joe Burrow and he got injured again. Which means Chase played the majority of the game with backup Jake Browning, and the team did just well enough to win the game.

The performance offsets last week’s disaster: Chase had owners screaming at their TV. Only 2 catches for 26 yards last week against the Browns.

The Bengals will monitor Burrow as they travel to Minnesota: It will be Chase vs Justin Jefferson next weekend indoors in a potential track meet. But we’ll need to see if Joe Burrow returns.

Bottom Line: Welcome back, Ja’Marr. Thank goodness.
