Fantasy Football: Bucs WRs, RBs TEs By Committee Puts Managers In Tough Spot
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers won a thriller last night in Houston, defeating the Texans 20-19 after another late game drive by Baker Mayfield. But Fantasy Owners saw no substantial points because the Bucs kept spreading the ball around.
Bucs Wide Receivers were comparable: Look at these lines.
Mike Evans 5 catches for 56 yards on 11 targets
Sterling Shepard 4 catches for 34 yards on 4 targets
Emeka Egbuka 4 catches for 29 yards and a touchdown on 7 targets.
So were the running backs:
Bucky Irving 17 carries for 71 yards.
Rachaad White 10 carries for 65 yards and a touchdown.
And finally, the tight ends:
Cade Otton: 3 catches for 25 yards
Ryan Miller: 1 catch for 20 yards which was also a TD
The Jets at home: Next week should offer up another opportunity for some leaders to cause some separation.
Bottom Line: Keep playing Evans, Egbuka, and Irving for sure. But don’t lose track of the others. This team gets banged up quickly. And Chris Godwin will eventually come back too.
