One of the most powerful aspects of social media, especially in the realm of sports management, is that it allows various organizations to look at their peers and then look inward to see if they’re doing any better.

After Oklahoma State fired Mike Gundy after 21 seasons, Florida Gator fans wondered if their embattled coach, Billy Napier, would be next or why he wasn’t fired before Gundy to begin with. Napier has the Gators off to their worst start in decades, and the program has not been relevant during his tenure.
