Fantasy Football: AJ Brown Still WR1 Despite Early Offensive Struggles

If you’re an AJ Brown fantasy manager, you can’t be happy. For the second game in as many weeks of the young season, Brown underperformed while the Philadelphia Eagles still defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 20-17 to remain undefeated.

The AJ Brown line: 5 catches on 8 targets for 27 yards.

Brown is seeing heavy coverage: The Cowboys didn’t let him breathe in the season opener, and the Chiefs didn’t give him much more. He still led the team in targets. They are just short conversions.

The Rams likely won’t give him much space either: Los Angeles is 2-0 and will be ready for their playoff rematch next weekend. They’ve been able to keep both CJ Stroud and Cam Ward at bay during their first two victories. But you know Jalen Hurts is on a higher level right now.

The Bottom Line: AJ Brown is still a #1 Fantasy Football receiver. You know that both Jalen Hurts and Nick Sirianni understand that he’s going to be essential for another championship run. Stick with him.
