Fantasy Football: De’Von Achane Most Dependable Dolphin Heading into Buffalo Prime Time Game

Here is the thing. In an offense that has headliners who we know can score and score often, it won’t be Tua Tagovialoa, Jaylen Waddle, or even Tyreek Hill that Fantasy Managers will be looking at first as the Dolphins head to Buffalo on Thursday night.

It will be De’Von Achane: While he hasn’t exactly been torching the scoreboard, he’s been in the end zone twice in as many games.

Achane has been dangerous catching the ball: Both of those tuddys came off of receiving plays, where he only trails Hill in receiving yards. His versatility is a big selling point.

The Bills have mixed results against explosive players: While they kept Brice Hall and Garrett Wilson at bay last week against the Jets, that was because Justin Fields was off. And in week one, the Bills defense gave up 40 points against Derrick Henry, and Lamar Jackson in Baltimore.

Bottom Line: Achane is the only Dolphin I feel good about heading into Thursday night, and only as a lower end starting running back. The Dolphins will have to at least put up a fight in Buffalo or the Mike McDaniel hot seat will start singing his khakis.

What do you think? Do you have Achane in your line up? Let me know in the comments.
