Josh Allen was banged up in the Buffalo Bills 30-10 victory over the rival New York Jets, but his franchise running back was ready to pick up the load for both the team, and fantasy owners.

The James Cook line: 21 carries for 132 yards (6 yard average!) and two touchdowns. He also caught one pass for three yards.

An improvement over last week against the Ravens: Which the Bills also won, but it was a track meet. Cook only had 44 yards, signaling Cook owners want the Bills to play with a lead as much as possible.

It’s a short week before Miami: Comes to town. The 0-2 Dolphins are going to be desperate, and the team will need to rest up Josh Allen. If Allen can’t go, Cook becomes even more important.

Bottom Line: Cook had a great rebound game. You’ll need him in the line up for Thursday night.
