Fantasy Football: Malik Nabers Has To Improve, Or Else
The New York Giants take on the Dallas Cowboys tomorrow, and while it’s only week 2 of a young season, the “G-Men” are already dealing with a quarterback controversy, and an unhappy premiere Fantasy Football WR1.
Malik Nabers Must Improve vs. Cowboys: He only registered 71 yards and 5 catches in the opening weekend loss against the Washington Commanders. That’s not good enough. Not only for fantasy owners. But for the Giants to win more than a handful of football games.
Russell Wilson is playing for his job: The Giants may be downplaying the urgency behind benching Wilson, but Brian Daboll can’t afford another bad season. Wilson must show signs of improvement tomorrow or it will be Jaxson Dart time sooner than later.
The Cowboys will put up points: Look no further than the other sideline to see another WR1 in CeeDee Lamb that has to recover. Dallas is in a much more resigned place with a new coach, but they scored just fine against the Eagles.
Bottom Line: Of course, we’re all going to play Nabers. But the noise will get awfully loud if he doesn’t see production tomorrow.
