Fantasy Football: What Joe Burrow Injury News Means For Owners

ESPN reported Monday morning that Cincinnati Bengals quarterback, Joe Burrow, will miss about three months after a foot injury in Sunday’s win over the Jaguars. The news comes on the heels of a 2-0 start for the Bengals, and a variety of important fantasy players that depended on Burrow for execution.

Replacing Burrow: Isn’t an easy task because the cupboard is pretty bare and unreliable for Fantasy QBs. You could try Aaron Rodgers and hope he gets back into week 1 four TD territory. Or maybe hope that Matthew Stafford is still available in your league. You could always try Jake Browning, but its not certain he’ll be the guy moving forward.

Ja’Marr Chase doesn’t move: He’s still the #1 fantasy receiver in football until we see otherwise.

Same for Tee Higgins: Once again, regardless of who is throwing the ball for Cincy, Higgins will have to produce.

Next week: They are at Minnesota against an offense that has it’s own problems. Keep Chase and Higgins in there and monitor what the Bengals do at quarterback.

What do you think? Who are you going to get to replace Burrows? Let me know in the comments.
