Magic The Gathering: Breakneck Beserker Is Cheap, Fast Offense

“Mom, I want Gimli”
“We have Gimli at home” (Gimli at home)

Intro: Red creatures need haste. And they need to move out fast. In that regard, Breakneck Berserker isn’t a bad way to go, and this ticked off dwarf can provide that instant offense us players who are keen on red, enjoy.

What the card actually says:

Haste

“Go for the knees! The last giant who tried to get past us rolled backed down the mountain in a dozen pieces.

The Good: He’s cheap at three mana. He’s fast as a 3 power with haste. There are also some neat dwarf tribal concepts out there that don’t get played enough.

The Bad: He’s not a gamechanger, but you get what you pay for. Breakneck Beserker isn’t going to take you anywhere unless he’s part of a bigger strategy.

The Verdict: If you’re running said Dwarf Tribal, a mono red aggro deck, or any other strategy that involves fast attacking smaller creatures, you could do much worst than Breakneck Berserker.

What do you think? Do you have Breakneck Berserker in your deck? Let me know in the comments.
