Magic The Gathering: Enthralling Victor Is Cheap Creature Theft

“You see that six pack. I used to have one just like that back in college.”
Intro: It’s always fun taking other people’s creatures. Enthralling Victor lets you do just that to one of your opponents weaker creatures.
What The Card Actually Says: When Enthralling The Victor enters the battlefield, gain control of target creature an opponent controls with power 2 or less until end of turn. It gains haste until end of turn.
The Good: Obviously, the creature control is nice. But he’s also a 3/2 at a decent price. And he’s a warrior which could fit into a number of different tribes.
The Bad: After the Enter The Battlefield effect, he falls into the realm of ordinary pretty quickly.
The Verdict: If you’re running a goadish scheme or deck that steals things, this is the way to go. Otherwise, give it a pass.
