Magic The Gathering: Raccoon Rallier Is A Springboard For Bigger Creatures

“Look at him. He’s got a little cloak and everything”
Intro: This is why people love Bloomburrow. Raccoon Rallier not only serves up some cute art, but he serves a purpose that could be a harbinger for many more dangerous things.
What The Card Actually Says: (tap) Target creature you control gains haste until end of turn. Activate only as a sorcery.
“I used to play for family only until I realized I could inspire an entire party with just a single note.”
The Good: Besides the adorable art, his ability to give other bigger creatures haste is valuable. He’s also only two mana, which isn’t a big ask whatsoever.
The Bad: At the end of the day, it’s just a 2/2 rodent with a horn. If he ain’t giving creatures haste, then he ain’t doing much.
The Verdict: He only cost a couple of cents. If you get him out in front of the bigger creatures in your deck, you could find a use for our musical little friend here.
What do you think? Do you have Raccoon Rallier in your deck? Let me know.
