Magic The Gathering: Blood Age General Is For Spirit Tribal Only

“All that aura farming for a 2/2 that can’t do nothing for almost everything else in the game”
Intro: We’ll make this one quick. Blood Age General won’t do much for you if you don’t have spirits in your deck. Then even then maybe not.
What The Card Actually Says: (Tap) Attacking Spirits get +1/+0 until end of turn.
“His troops took the Fortress of Caerdoon centuries ago, yet he fights on.”
The Good: If you’ve got spirits, you can buff them. But the card already told us that. Ummm, he’s inexpensive and could be also be a low stakes blocker? That’s it.
The Bad: Everything else. If you don’t have any other spirits on the field, then his effect is useless. He should have been a red/white or mono white creature if we’re being honest.
The Verdict: If you want to build a spirits deck, then he should only cost you a couple of pennies. Otherwise, pass on this over dramatic creature.
